Wrote and drew this a long while ago! Dismissed it as to "gothic", and didn't want to submit it by that reason. Found it resently and it sure was gothy, but I liked it anyway. So here you go, hope you like.
The Queen of Broken Hearts
On an icy throne she sits,
The Queen of Broken Hearts.
Her Majesty is wicked,
and master of her arts.
There is no place for her in
the world’s great playing deck.
Damned to life alone in sin,
A cold blood, shallow wreck.
She prays upon the brave ones,
those who dare hold her dear.
Her claws dig deep into them,
without remorse or fear.
And from their hearts she squeezes
warm blood to soothe her skin.
Leaving them with broken hopes,
and emptiness within.
There was a time when she loved,
but no one loved her back.
She died but kept on living,
her soul turned cold and black.
A mirror shows no image,
of her the way she is.
Neither does her choice of words
tell what she really says.
A constant sense of longing,
drives her to kill and break
the hearts of those who love her
She thrives on their heartache.
And if you look you’ll find her,
still sitting on her throne.
She tears hearts from others,

It's stupid to say that computer games have bad influence on childern. If Pac-Man had influenced children born in the 80's, today we'd have lots of kids running around in dark rooms eating pills, while listening to monotonous and dull electronic music.

Mmm that's a beautiful poem... I especially liked the part with the mirror. Nothing wrong with being gothic once in a while, right? Btw, someone once said that all true poetry is self-biographical...
Thanks, for the +fav too And I've had my share of gothic, thank you.. Tried to leave that teenage phase behind but I guess it was harder then I thought!
I guess all poetry is self biographical... in a way.
